PREVAIL- RESPECT (P-R) and
the Columbus Urban League are hosting the 5th annual "tell it like
it is" conference.
"Power Up: Express Yourself, Respect
Yourself," is a one-day session focusing on our collective
well being and solutions to move us beyond a victim orientation.
This exciting session will give you the knowledge, insight,
information, and strategies to synchronize and take charge of your
economic, mental, and spiritual lives. Through workshops, speakers
and forums you will learn to identify financial, mental and physical
health risks. Our goal is for you to take away the tools you need to
regain personal power and responsibility over perceived challenges
and risks.
Please join Prevail-Respect as we power up to promote and acquire
the skills we need for survival, resilience and prosperity. Power Up
is a follow-up to the 2009 conference, VICTIMECTOMY: No More Excuses
and part of the Prevail-Respect "tell it like it is" series of
conferences.
Registration: $25 Adults; $15 seniors 60 & over; $10 youth
